Customers are personally responsible for any import duty/tax that may be applied to an order. This isn’t a shipping charge, but a legal requirement decided by the governing law where you live.

Note that duty is due on the actual cost of shipping irrespective if you were eligible for free shipping since it is calculated on the ‘landed cost’ of the order.
